Ingredients Description

24 Tablespoons Nutella, chilled

2 Cups flour

3 Tsp cornstarch

½ Tsp baking soda

1 Tsp of baking powder

1 Tsp salt

½ Cup white sugar

¼ Cup brown sugar

2 Eggs

1 Cup butter

2 Tsp vanilla

¾ Cup unsweetened cocoa powder

½ Cup dark chocolate chips, plus more for topping

- Scoop out 24 tablespoons of Nutella onto a cookie sheet then freeze them for 1 hour

- In a bowl, whip up the butter with brown and white sugar until the texture becomes creamy

- Add in the first egg and stir, then add in the second one and stir

- Add the chocolate powder to the mix and stir well

- In a different bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch, salt and vanilla

- Divide the flour mix into three equal sections; add the first section to the butter mixture and stir well. Then, add in the second section and stir, then finally the last section and stir. You will notice the texture became heavy and could be formed as cookies with your hand

- Add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix until everything is combined

- Now, using your hand roll in some cookie dough into a ball. Make a hole in the center of the dough balls, fill it with frozen Nutella then cover the Nutella by pulling the dough and forming a ball

- Place the cookies on top of a baking sheet on the tray and sprinkle the tops of the cookies with few additional chocolate chips

- Bake for 12 minutes. Cookies will flatten out and get crispy on the edges, but the center will still feel soft

Let the cookies rest for 15 minutes before serving
