Pies are one of the oldest baked dishes in the world. Usually made of pastry dough, pies containvarious fillings of sweet or savory ingredients.
- 1 cup Abukass rice
- 4 chicken breasts
- Quarter teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper as desired
- ¼ cup pine nuts
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup boiled and chopped carrots
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Quarter package ultra-thin dough
- 2 cups hot water
Chop chicken breasts then sauté until well done. In a different skillet; add oil then vegetables and stir occasionally. Finely add all desired spices then add cooked chicken.
Brush oven tray with one spoon of oil, put the pastry on it and fill in vegetables and chicken.
Close surface, then place the pie in the oven for 30 minutes or until pastry becomes golden brown.
