You can submit it with yogurt green onions to impart distinctive flavor and the onions contain an additional amount of antioxidants
- 2 cups of Abukass Rice
- 2 cups yellow lentils, boiled
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil or fat
- 4 cups water or chicken broth
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 eggs optional
- Heat the fat or oil in a saucepan, then add water or broth with salt and pepper and let boil then put the rice and lentils and mix gently then let simmer a very low heat until a little water remains. Stir every minute until you feel the rice has mixed well with the ingredients.
You can add scrambled eggs and stir until cooked to give the risotto a gel form.
